We're calling 2026 "The Year of the Patriot" for good reason. With the nation's 250th birthday, plus midterm elections, two conferences, and all we have going on for the Texas Primary, we know True Texans are engaged and excited!
The first of our Year of the Patriot conferences happens February 14 in The Woodlands, Texas, as we continue to build True Texan strength in the Houston area. If you're from the area, be sure to join in and bring friends. If you're not from the area, make the trip and support this crucial area of our great state! Either way, this conference is packed with expert speakers on timely topics you're gonna want to hear. We're covering H1B visas, immigration, remigration, property taxes, and the Islamization of Texas, among other things! Plus we'll have a candidate meet-n-greet during the lunch hour, and your meal is included. All this is packed into one great day that ends on a lighter note: a comedy show from Brad Stine! As you can see, we've got it all! And the best part is you'll be surrounded by the best patriots Texas has to offer. Iron sharpens iron, so this is the place to be.
Each hour, attendees will choose a speaker following the schedule below:
- 8:30-9am: registration
- 9-9:50am:
- The Most Underutilized Office in Texas - Former State Sen Don Huffines is running for Texas State Comptroller, one of the most powerful offices in the state. Why do we say that? What unknown or untapped power does this office hold? How can it be utilized to protect taxpayers? Come learn about what the Texas Constitution has to say, as well as what Sen Huffines has planned when he wins his election for Comptroller.
- Remigration Act of 2025 - The White Papers Policy Institute is a team of analysts who work together to craft practical policy options that promote the interest of Western Peoples who seek self-determination and prosperity for their nations through remigration, among other things. Their work includes the Remigration Act of 2025 for the United States, and the British Remigration Policy Platform for the U.K. WPPI is the first institution to offer creative voluntary remigration incentives which work to mutually benefit both the West and the development of home countries to which these migrants will return.
- But What If It's LEGAL? - Chris Russo of Texans for Strong Borders will talk about the impact of legal immigration, the key laws that have gotten us to where we are, and where we need to focus going forward. He will touch on both federal and state policy, including the Immigration Acts of 1965 and 1990, the H-1B and OPTS programs, the ways companies scam the PERM process, and more.
- 10-10:50am:

After founding Plano Young Republicans, he now serves as the Chairman of Young Republicans of Texas. His goal is to lead YRT in championing Texas-first policies, supporting true conservative fighters, and preserving the culture and values that make our home worth defending.
Micah Farmer: Micah Farmer was raised in the DFW area, where he developed a strong commitment to his Christian faith and deep sense of patriotism. He currently resides in Austin where he serves as the President of Travis County Young Republicans and the Treasurer of Young Republicans of Texas.
Sebastian Pestritto: Sebastian Pestritto graduated from Hillsdale College with a B.A. in politics and theatre. He currently works for Blaze Media in Irving, Texas, where he also serves as president of the local YRT chapter.

- 12:30-1:20pm -
- ICE, ICE, Baby - ICE raids are all over the news. Hear the real story from a real agent. What's going on, and how can citizens help?
- Islam: A Primer - A straightforward outline of origins, beliefs, practices, and key terminology will provide a basic understanding of Islam and the Muslim Brotherhood, including its entry into the United States. This conversation is led by Erin O'Laughlin, a former CIA operative.
- 1:30-2:20pm:

It can leave us fearful and uncertain, but situational awareness, readiness, and response is every citizen's responsibility. Mike Shelby of Forward Observer is a former military intelligence analyst who talks about the importance of community networking.
- Eliminate Property Tax - Property taxes are out of control. Lots of politicians say they will or have fixed it, but nothing changes. Let's have a conversation discussing the pros and cons of the various options to fully eliminate property tax in Texas. Bill Peacock of Excellen Thought and Andrew McVeigh of Texans For Fiscal Responsibility will break it all down for us.
- 2:30-3:20:
- The Church's Response to Mass Immigration - Many will quote scripture to argue in favor of an immigration free-for-all. How much truth is there to those interpretations? William Wolfe of the Center for Baptist Leadership will shed light.
